Dr.
Ramon E. Rivera MD, FACS is
a board certified surgeon specializing in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Weight
Loss Surgery (Bariatric) and advanced Gastrointestinal surgery
procedures. He completed his internship at Saint Vincent’s Hospital
and Medical Center; his residency at Drexel University College of Medicine; and
his laparoscopic fellowship at Washington University School of
Medicine. He is a Bariatric Center of Excellence-certified surgeon
by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Dr.
Rivera is co-founder and Director of RecoverHealth Weight Loss Center, New City,
NY. His primary interests lies in the study of long-term weight
loss success and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Rivera is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York and
St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick, New York. He is licensed
in New York and New Jersey, with offices in New City, Suffern, and Goshen, New
York. He is member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and
the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
